    Court Helicopters makes supply drops to ships passing Cape Town, they use channel 10 chopper-to-ship

    Rescue craft (NSRI) in table bay use Channel 14, 16 and 0 (156.000 simplex) for intership comms, Dont know if they still use 29MHz Anyone??

    Channel 71 is the official sports fishing channel, and booking in/out when running into the deep, the various sport fishing and yacht clubs stand by on this channel

    I am compiling a list of important details in my yacht communications file and would like to know where to find the the call up channels for the major ports along the South African coast. I am from Durban and I know their channel is 09. could someone please help? Neville.

    Hearing lots of fishing boats using non marine shortwave frequencies, lappies , kaptein, mario, gawie , 8888.88khz usb,12352 khz 6230khz yes right on top of Australia Volmet channel, 14151.5 khz lsb inside the 20 mtr amateur radio band .10889 khz usb , 11789 khz usb,8101 khz usb 6765khz on top of Bangkok Volmet ,6868 khz, 5340 ,8950,4230,4250,11302 khz creating interferance for aircraft frequencies of mombay talking to aircraft from africa on 11300khz , 8294,6888.5khz, 3626 khz 3663.5, 3737.37 12345.67 khz 6262 , 8503 3965.5 3715.5 khz 4307.77 4377.77 , 4211.5 right on top of a cw beacon,5227 4107.5 4545 khz 5656 khz 6670 , 10777.77 khz , most use of these frequencies are illegal.

    Please advise what these channels are.

    Marine Channel 71 is licensed to Ski Boat Mobile.
